On the afternoon of June 17th, at the invitation of the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics, Professor Peng Jiming from the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Houston gave a lecture entitled "Quantitative Models and Techniques for Optimal Deployment of Mobile Health Clinic Service to Underserved Vulnerable Communities " at 1308.

Professor Peng's report lasted for two hours. The report has both breadth and depth. It broadens the teachers' and students’ thinking and vision, deepens the understanding of optimization methods in practical application research, and will play a good role inpromoting the improvement of scientific research ability and level of the attendees. At the end of the report,the teachers and students raised their own questions about the content of the report, and Professor Peng gave detailed answers, which benefited both the teachers and students.
